FAQ

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Free Trial requires no credit card. You add payment only when you upgrade to Solo, Team or Business. Stripe asks for a card only at upgrade time.

How exactly does Free Trial work — 30 days or €1 AI credit?

Both — whichever comes first. The trial is 30 days long and seeded with €1 of AI credit. Light usage (1–3 messages / day, quality engineer testing the waters) usually stretches the €1 across the full 30 days. Heavy usage (5–10 messages / day, working a real customer complaint) burns through €1 in roughly 5–7 days — at which point you pick a plan or buy one-time tokens. A 20-messages-per-day cap prevents you from emptying the credit in one hour — we want you to actually test the product over time.

What happens after the trial ends?

Three options: (1) move to Solo €29 / mo, Team €99 or a higher plan, (2) buy one-time tokens (€5 / 100 messages, €20 / 500, €60 / 2000), or (3) stay read-only — you can still browse past cases, but new conversations require a plan or tokens.

What's the difference between Solo and Team?

Solo €29 is for 1 user (freelance QE, junior QE, or a single team member). Team €99 (Q3 2026) is up to 5 members with 350 shared messages per day + a shared Knowledge Base + team-wide case history. Pick Team if you have at least 2 people in QA.

What does “350 messages / day shared” mean on Team?

The 350 daily messages are a pool shared across the whole organisation. With 5 people in your team, they can split it however they want — one uses 150, another 30, a third 170. The counter resets every day at midnight. Solo, by contrast, gives 80 messages per user with no aggregation.

Can I change plan later?

Yes, anytime. Solo → Team → Business → Enterprise upgrade is instant via the Stripe portal in Settings. Downgrade is also possible — it takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle (we don't pro-rate refunds). Cancel anytime, no fee.

Why is Solo €29 and not €99 like competitors?

We're a single-founder bootstrapped company optimising for adoption, not revenue maximisation. Solo at €29 is roughly our marginal cost (Anthropic API + Stripe fees + hosting) plus a thin margin to keep the lights on. The proper revenue tiers are Team and Business.

Will you refund if it doesn't help me?

Yes. 14-day refund guarantee from your first paid charge. If QualityOS doesn't save you at least 5 hours in the first 2 weeks, write to support@qualityos.app and we'll refund without questions.

Is my company data safe?

Hosted in EU (Supabase Frankfurt). Row-level security per tenant — no other customer can see your data. We don't train AI models on your prompts. Full DPA on request to legal@qualityos.app.

When does Team launch?

Q3 2026 (planned). Team workspace features (shared cases, invitations, team analytics) are in development. Waitlist members get the launch invitation first and pricing locked in at the launch rate.

What is the Early Adopter plan?

The first 100 paying Solo customers get 50 % off forever — applied as a Stripe coupon that stays in effect for as long as the Solo subscription is active. Once 100 Solo customers sign up, the discount closes. Live counter at the top of this page. (Team and Business plans do not get the Early Adopter discount — they will have their own launch-discount mechanism for waitlist members at Q3 2026 launch.)
