How does the Knowledge Base stay isolated between companies?
Every document you upload to your Knowledge Base is written with an explicit org_id (your company identifier). PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) policies enforce the org_id filter before every SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE — so physically no other organisation can see your rows, not via buggy code, not via SQL injection, not via us in support. The Anthropic API receives only the content of your documents in the prompt; prompts are not retained for model training (per Anthropic Commercial Terms and DPA).
Which 8D output formats can QualityOS generate?
Currently supported 8D output formats: VW 8D-Bericht (for the CATS portal), Stellantis SCAR (for eSupplierConnect), Ford G8D (for the Ford Supplier Portal), generic AIAG 8D (universal D0–D8 + checkpoints). PDF export in every case. The AI can rewrite the content from one format to another if the customer changes the requirement at the last minute. Mercedes-Benz NeP, BMW QPS and JLR formats are on the Q3 2026 roadmap.
How does QualityOS differ from ChatGPT for a quality engineer?
ChatGPT knows 8D, PFMEA and IATF 16949 at Wikipedia depth — it can define them. It fails on operator-specific details: which field VW requires in CATS row 4, what timing Stellantis SCAR enforces under the new SQAM, whether a particular finding is Wiederholfehler-eligible. QualityOS is trained on automotive customer-specific requirements and has a per-tenant Knowledge Base where you upload your Control Plans, PFMEAs and past 8Ds — so it answers about *your* process, not generic theory.

How does onboarding for a new company work?
Onboarding has 3 steps and takes ~5 minutes. Step 1: customers (VW, Stellantis, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, JLR, others), certifications (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA), product segment (lighting, electronics, plastics, metalwork). Step 2 (optional): upload Control Plans, PFMEAs, past 8Ds, customer templates — the more you upload, the sharper the AI gets. Step 3: invite team members (Team and Business plans). If you leave after Step 1 you can continue later — a dashboard banner reminds you the Knowledge Base is 0% complete.
What languages does the AI assistant understand and respond in?
The AI auto-detects the user language and responds in the same. Currently fully supported: Slovak, Czech, English, German. Customer-specific email drafting works in 4 languages (Slovak, English, German, Italian) — automatically chosen by OEM (Mercedes → German, JLR → English, Stellantis Turin → Italian). The marketing website is in Slovak and English; DACH expansion (German marketing) is planned for Q4 2026.
What is the difference between PFMEA Brainstorm and a full PFMEA Builder?
PFMEA Brainstorm is a single-screen tool: feed in one process step, the AI proposes failure modes + Severity / Occurrence / Detection ratings + controls per AIAG-VDA 2019. You copy the result as TSV into your master PFMEA (Excel or APIS IQ-RM). No database CRUD, no projects — just fast thinking through risk. A full PFMEA Builder (multi-row editor, project save, PDF export) is on the Q3 2026 roadmap.
